Flora Ecopower has taken out long-term leases on the areas required.
Territory lying fallow is recultivated to make it systematically exploitable for
our undemanding non-food plants. We economise on water as a rare resource.
Flora Ecopower does not harm flora or fauna, avoids monocultures,
and helps to prevent global warming with its well thought-out concepts.

People are at the centre
Our plants are cultivated in a manner which is kind to nature and beneficial
to the people who live there. Flora Ecopower balances its activities with a variety of interests.
On the one hand, with our labour-intensive agricultural effort and the production
of biological oil, we can counter the poverty of the local population. In addition,
Flora Ecopower helps to build up infrastructures which give the people there the basic
requirements to help themselves. True to our motto "Food Comes First" our biological oil
with its totally "non-food properties" does not affect the market mechanisms in the foodstuffs sector.
This means that we are also helping to provide a foundation to secure the supply of
foodstuffs in developing areas.

With the Community Farming programme Flora Ecopower practices,
people are at the centre of its actions and its success.
